Fladeboe Auctioneer Named Top in Minnesota

The Minnesota State Auctioneers Association announced in early January 2006 that Kristine Fladeboe-Duininck had won the 2006 Champion Auctioneer contest.

Kristine competed against 38 other auctioneers from the Upper Midwest in a contest that pits some of the best auctioneers of the region against each other.

Contestants were judged on their overall stage presence, clarity of auctioneering and their responses to questions pertaining to the auction industry.

As the winner, Kristine will serve as an auction industry  spokesperson and represent the Minnesota State Auctioneers Association  at events around the region.

“This is an exciting time for our family business,” said Kristine. “I  am excited and thankful to have been selected and look forward to representing the MN State Auctioneers Association at the National contest this summer.”

Kristine attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering in 1995 and has worked full-time as an auctioneer for the past six years.

“It feels great to win, but more importantly, I am really excited about the direction the auction industry is going,” said Kristine. “The auction business is growing by leaps and bounds, particularly  in the area of Real Estate Auctions — and I am grateful to be a  part of it.”
