Advertising...
Advertising is one of the most important aspects of
your auction. McLaughlin Auctioneers prepares a marketing program and budget for each client. We establish who your
buyers are and then target those buyers through auction brochures, newspapers, trade publications, internet advertising
and even radio & television advertising.
We have our own "in house" mailing list of established auction buyers and also make use of "custom"
specialized mailing lists available from different resources.
Your advertising dollars are spent advertising only your auction.... not someone else's or our services.
You will be informed as to how your advertising dollars are being spent and receive complete copies of all invoices with
your auction settlement
Getting Ready...
McLaughlin Auctioneers realize that getting
ready for and auction can be a very stressful at time. We can assist you or completely set up your auction.
Our brochure "Tips For Successful Auction" will give you many helpful suggestions to help you
prepare for your auction. From cleaning of equipment to displaying small items, it will help you organize your auction
in a way to assure top dollar for your merchandise. Also, the sale order in which your items are sold can make a big
difference in what they will sell for. In most cases, our experienced staff will come in a day or two before your
auction to establish the order of sale, and to make sure that everything is ready for auction day.
We have platforms and flatbed trailers available to display small items. Our large canopy tent can be used
to place furniture under if necessary. We will arrange for a licensed food service to serve lunch at your auction, and
can also provide or arrange portable restrooms.
If you are auctioning your Real Estate, open houses are scheduled and "bidder packages" are prepared. Your
title work is put into motion as well as your preliminary closing work. We will assess your property and make
suggestions on repairs or improvements that may pay off on auction day.
Clerks and Cashiers...
McLaughlin
Auctioneers has an experienced staff of clerks and cashiers. Our state of the art computerized clerking system allows us
to manage your auction from start to finish. With customize mailing list, pre-auction inventory, special reports and
much more. You will receive a complete print out of the items sold the day of your auction.
All funds are deposited into special trust accounts and your auction is settled fast... in most cases 5 to
10 working days. In some cases we can even offer same day settlements. As mentioned earlier, we will provide you with a
complete detail as to your advertising expenses related to your auction.
