Experience counts - Wow I cant believe its already a new year – this marks my 35 years as a auctioneer – and 30 years as a real estate broker- wow where has time gone. As a auctioneer and realtor I have seen many changes – not only on the type of sales but the market ups and downs and what works and what does not work. Looking forward to another good year – working with my talented staff that have been with me for many years too. One thing I see as being crucial is timing – getting the items ready and getting the auction inventory as early as possible . This time of the year is a great time to be thinking about having a auction. Remember we are only a phone call or a text or a email away to answer any questions on how auctions work and why they have been the best way to sell anything. With the many types of auctions and types of marketing a auction don’t just contact us. The best way for us to help you determine the best type of auction is to have us meet with you, that way we can give a good evaluation of the items you want to sell and go through the process. Remember the onsite evaluation is free – free- free. Looking forward to hearing from you as a potential auction client- remember – auctions create action and they get results- and they are one of the most effective and quick ways to sell anything. We offer amazing results – Amazing auctions llc - our past clients are our references.

Auction Updates Looks like another great year for auctions - The only way to sell - Auctions create action. The auction method of selling has
stood the test of time whether using the traditional onsite live or online only
or live and online. When considering selling anything, an auction is the way to
go. Some of the big changes we have seen in the last year have been the tax laws
and what gets taxed and what doesn't. Another change is what should be sold live
auction or what should be sold online only or using both methods at one time. As
a seller, it is imperative to understand the pros and cons of both methods. As a
buyer it’s important to understand that 90% of online auctions have very
specific ground rules and expenses as a buyer - buyer’s premium being the
biggest one and shipping. Understanding the importance of knowing what you are
buying prior to bidding. As a seasoned auctioneer, I highly recommend to sellers
and buyers the importance of having a viewing of items on any auction so that
everyone is aware of what they are buying and the expenses that a buyer may
incur during the transaction. Commission is an important aspect and can be a negotiable item. When considering an auction company, consider what added-value services are provided. This may include experience, reputation, knowledge of the items being sold, properly licensed and bonded, and marketing capabilities. Each of these items are important and often times justify the commission expense. Having a positive reputation with previous sellers and buyers and being a member the state association also bring value. Hiring an auctioneer is very similar to hiring a plumber, electrician, or a carpenter - each need to understand what they are working with to create a plan of success. Selling real estate at auction is a great first option if the property is unique or has never been exposed to the current market. Selling real estate at auction provides great exposure, maximizing time on the market. This process can sometimes supersedes what a traditional market can get, achieving top dollar with multiple potential buyers. Another great advantage is that the seller sets the terms upfront and negotiations complete within 24 hours or less, no waiting! If you are thinking of having an auction, give me a call! Frequently Asked Questions Here are a handful of questions many clients have asked. Feel free to contact me, anytime, with additional questions and thank you for visiting my website! E-mail: dougm@scicable.com How do I arrange to have an
auction and how long does it take to set up? Allow at least 2 or 3 weeks of lead time to allow advertising to take effect. Take some of that time to clean or repair any items to help improve their value. Once it’s set up, how do people
find out about the auction? --Flyers: we will prepare an attractive professional
looking flyer advertising your sale. In many markets this is the most effective
means of getting the word out to those most likely to attend an auction. When something is sold at an
auction, who takes care of collecting the money? What is a buyer’s premium? What type of equipment is needed
for the sale and do you provide it? I want to sell my home or land at
